Elementary Memory

I went to four different schools before sixth grade and moved six times. We moved to Valley for my fifth grade year. This was my least favorite place I have ever lived. Everyone was really mean and small town. The first day we had to take a test on the computer to determine our reading level and pick a book in this level. The elementary, middle, and high school were all in one building and shared one library.
It turned out I had above a twelfth grade reading level. I had to walk to the opposite side of the library and pick a book while everyone else talked about me and picked fun books. All of the books were huge, had no pictures, and i did not want to read them. I was overwhelmed and I started crying. After about ten minutes the librarian came over and told me I was taking too long and the rest of the class was done. She finally picked a really thick book with little words that no fifth grader would want to read no matter what their reading level is and made me take it.
It was the worst day ever!!!!!!
